Instructors >> Working with us

Despite extravagant and sometimes misleading claims made by some training organisations to induce people to join their ADI courses, not everyone can successfully apply themselves to training as a driving instructor.

Some newcomers also entertain unrealistic expectations as to what they might earn or are ill-suited to being self-employed, (which is the usual working format in this industry). The main service we provide is day-to-day administration whereby, at the simple click of a button, instructors can produce their own reports describing their pass rates, lessons sales, turnover and retention rates. We also maintain an Internet presence and pay for Yellow Pages advertisements and the ongoing development of our Palm software.

But potential instructors should be warned: we cannot make social misfits into personable trainers nor can we make slapdash or disorganised individuals into competent small-business people. Any potential instructor to our brand should not rely on us totally for the work they do. Unlike driving schools who charge a fixed fee every week, our fee is based on a percentage of the lessons that an instructor conducts, so a good instructor who can generate their own work will enjoy a substantially lower franchisee fee as they become more established in their own right.
